To ensure the long-term success of your dental treatment it is essential to follow a structured maintenance plan.

1. Continuing Home Care

Daily self-care prevents the recurrence of issues and protects your investment in your health.

Consistency: Adhere strictly to the daily hygiene routine prescribed by us here at Deasy Dental such as specific brushing, flossing and mouthwashes.

Technique: Ensure you are using the correct tools (e.g., electric toothbrushes, specific brushes or applicators) as demonstrated during your appointment .

2. Regular Professional Exams

Regular check-ups allow us to monitor your progress and identify potential complications before they become serious.

Early Detection: Routine exams can catch minor shifts or wear that you may not feel or see at home.

3. Professional Cleanings & Maintenance

Even with excellent home care, certain deposits or biological changes can only be managed by a professional.

Specialised Equipment: We use tools to reach areas or provide treatments that are inaccessible during home care .
Biofilm Management: Regular professional cleanings are necessary to disrupt bacteria or buildup that hardens over time

We guarantee these procedures for a full 5 years.If they break, crack or fall out during this time we will replace or repair them free of charge.We will cover 50%of the cost if they fail between 5 and 10 years.This guarantee does not cover damage from accidents, extreme trauma, or neglect.It does not cover failure due to new gum disease, uncontrolled diabetes, smoking or caries.

PRSI

We accept patients under the Dental Treatment Benefit Scheme [PRSI].

Patients that qualify under this scheme are entitled to one complimentary dental examination per year.

In 2017 the Government reintroduced a subsidised Scale and Polish for qualified workers at a cost of 15 euros to workers or, for those with gum disease [pockets of 4mm and above] the Department pays a contribution of 42 euros and this is applied towards the treatment of gum disease and the patient pays the balance.

We would be grateful if you would provide us with your PPS number prior to your appointment, and we will happily check your eligibility with the Department of Social Protection.
